I’m still worn out from my shopping trip yesterday. I left the house at 5:45 am and didn’t get home until 5:30 pm. I had to stop home twice and drop stuff off. My car is still filled to the max. I noticed people staring at my cart when I had it over flowing with paper towels. I’m just going to be having the xmas spirit in my kitchen all year long. They were only $1.50 for a double roll….less than half price. I bought 25 packages…so that comes to about a roll a week.

I noticed yesterday, people still had the xmas spirit. They were letting people with a few items in front to check out. I had to smile and this one family checking out in front of me. They were purchasing this huge electronic jeep. The little girl says to me, “My dad says he is buying this for Brady, but it’s really for him to play with.” I knew that had to be true…his wife told me Brady just turned 19 months old. It made me think about all the toys my husband has bought as well….such as the learning to fly game for the computer….the darn paddle thing was $90.00. But seeing the excitement on his face and hearing him cheer when he lands at Miegs Field in Chicago……..that’s priceless.

It’s time for me to get back to some type of routine here. I’m heading off to make myself some green tea.
