omg you are totally doing it wrong. You should NEVER feel guilty about occasionally eating the "wrong" food - and counting calories is also totally wrong.

If you feel guilty...its a sign you deprive your body of something...you know (deep inside) you want it actually badly...and there is a reason why your body craves this or that foods. So you get 120cal with this shake? Big deal! You should never even be at a point where 120cal can make you feel guilty AT ALL, let alone make or break your diet or "routine". My $0.02

regards,

C.

My hard fast rule with clients is to avoid drinking your calories. Shakes, soft drinks, etc. These diet drinks really drive me crazy. I'd rather eat a bunch of clean food for the same cals, and never be hungry that way. But, that may just be me. :)

Hey! great idea! One question though. How was it only 330 cals? I thought it would be 420 with 1 cup of ice cream (180 cals) and 2 cups of milk (240 cals).

Please let me know if I'm wrong because I'd love to have the same drink for 330 cals because what I'm sipping on now isn't. Thanks!!

You are right, you can loose a lot of fat when using shakes and the correct protein amounts for your size. I lost 38 lbs doing the shake meal replacement and I'm working on my six pack now it's awesome. Keep on with your good work

I loved the story of the new waistline friendly milkshake. My own personalized low cal milkshake recipe is the following: mix skim milk with frozen strawberries and one tablespoon of lemon juice. In the mixer you add ice cubes until you get the consistency you desire. If you want to make it a little sweeter you can also add honey. Tasty and super low cal milkshake.

looks like a great shake there. I particularly am a fan of weight loss shakes, and that's especially if they taste good. Hopefully this one is very filling. I oftentimes think that reason people have such a problem losing weight is because they have a difficult time finding satisfying foods to eat. Maybe this shake could be the answer.

I think it's a great idea to use a home-made milkshake as substitute for lunch. That's just the "crux" - most of us would have the milkshake as accompaniment to another meal, and THAT's what is so bad and makes you put on weight. If we just take the shake and use it as meal replacement, then we can actually use ice cream and maybe even full fat milk (yes, I think we can!) and still come out tops. Long live the milkshakes!
