H. D. Pappas emigrated from Greece in 1897 with the idea that he would open restaurants in America. He had a passion for quality and service that helped his success, as he opened restaurants in Tennessee, Arkansas and Texas. He passed down this same passion to his sons and grandsons.
Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen restaurants are well known for their Louisiana – Cajun style seafood dishes and fresh fish, that is flown in daily. The menu offers a wide selection of fish, steaks, pastas, salads, and desserts. They also have a comprehensive wine collection. Each ingredient on the menu is prepared from scratch, including their salad dressings, sauces and marinades. Once a customer is seated, a loaf of homemade warm, crusty bread is delivered to the table to begin the dining experience.
The restaurant owners goal is guest satisfaction. They are passionate about their establishments and set very high standards for quality and service at reasonable prices. Pappadeux has a fun, lively, somewhat upscale atmosphere with a down on the bayou flair. It also features live music.
