I don't normally watch Biggest Loser but I have caught bits & pieces. I can only take so much of the 'tough love' some people have mentioned. I'm not sure if the bootcamp approach is really meant with 'love' is it? Military & love don't seem to go together do they? I find it weird that they take these overweight people & force them to go from little to no physical activity & then drive them hard... Fay above mentions some contestants ending up in the hospital. Not a very 'loving' result. A friend of mine is a personal trainer. Her pro. assoc. won't let her call any of her classes 'bootcamp' anymore because of injuries. Thank goodness... I am so sick of the 'bootcamp' approach. Can't people be more creative?

Jillian is an great inspiration to the people who really need help on the Biggest Loser. From what I read online she seems to be very nice and is a good hearted person that cares just like on tv. Many people who are in showbiz can be jerks off the camera, but she is a class act.

Jillian Michaels is certainly the biggest winner in business at the moment. She ought to take care to not promote rubbish products however as she says that the true path to fitness is good food and keeping fit.

am I the only one here who notices that JIllian Michaels has put some of her contestants in the hospital from over training them? the workouts she puts the biggest loser ppl on can be dangerous...although, yes, she does get drastic results from them most of the time.

What a tragic situation, however things turned out for the best.

Thank God at least one parent was alert and aware of a situation that could have gotten out of hand.

I believe it is important for parents to teach and influence their children,in everything good, and that includes health, exercise and nutrition...

I have never been fat or struggled with weight, but i know people who have, and i empathize with them.

However i can never truly know the pain and anguish some people go through...

Thank God i got hooked on exercise and eating well at age 15,and have never looked back...,i am now 50 and look 30.

You reap what you sow...

Congratulations Jillian,on looking so gorgeous and fit, keep it up...

You do teach people to burn fat. I like most of your approach but what about older people or people that can't exercise? We always see you in work-out garb. I agree with fix the problem and change forever concept. that's what I teach on my blog...

very good suggestion of Jillian
many people seek different methods to lose weight but never change their eating uncontrollably
Hard exercise for two days and then stop
always have to be optimistic
