Quick Trim is one of the best known weight loss supplements on the market. The Quick Trim line contains four separate products: a shake, sculpting gel, cleanser, and capsules. The shake provides a meal in a drink form that is perfectly rationed to give the exact number of calories, nutrients, and minerals to keep dieters healthy and full. The sculpting gel reduces the appearance of cellulite and tightens skin. The cleanser is a product that is used for two weeks to remove built up wastes and toxins from the body. The capsules are taken daily to increase metabolism and suppress hunger pains.

Quick Trim gained its popularity quickly due to the help of the Kardashian sisters. The line of products was released in late 2008 and become the top weight loss system early in 2009. The Kardashian sisters became the paid marketers and featured it on their show causing its popularity to skyrocket. Even though the Kardashian sisters have never battled weight issues, their claims are legitimate. Unfortunately, dropping to a lower weight means paying a higher price. Here are a few ways to get Quick Trim products for less than the retail tag.

Kim Kardashian’s personal website is a great place to find promotional perks for Quick Trim. You won’t find them in her store, but do not pass over her blog. At any given point she has a sale code that can be typed during checkout for anyone who is purchasing Quick Trim products elsewhere on the internet. When available, she often has links to printable coupons. This does take a bit of work to find though considering her blog page is extremely long. The best route to take is simply typing related words into a “find on this page” search. For additional coupons and discounts, follow Kim Kardashian on twitter. She often provides the same information, but easier to find.

Other websites that promote the Kardashians also promote Quick Trim. One such website is Celebuzz.com. Searching for Kim among the other gossip will lead you straight to a printable $5 on any Quick Trim products. The best part about this method is that the coupon can be printed multiple times. However, only one can be used per purchase.

For those who are dedicated to a healthy lifestyle, and often find themselves purchasing similar products, investing in a GNC Gold Card is the way to go. The initial cost is $15, but every regular priced purchase after that is 20% off. They also email coupons and special sales that are reserved for Gold Card holders. This would be the most cost effective route if you plan on buying multiple Quick Trim products, or other vitamins and health products in addition to the Quick Trim.

There are many other sites dedicated to providing consumers with coupons and discount codes that often have Quick Trim among their list. Scoping out a few of those will likely reveal money saving tips, but Kim Kardashian is in the know when it comes to her product. Save yourself the hassle and go straight to the $5. Hunting for a better deal that probably doesn’t exist is not nearly as satisfying as printing out money.

The History of Weight Watchers

Weight Watchers is a worldwide known company that teaches people how to eat right and lose weight. Not only does Weight Watchers have individual centers all throughout the world where meetings are held, but they also offer meals and other food products bearing the trademark name. An overweight woman inspired the idea behind Weight Watchers in 1961 through learning that having accountability with her friends helped her lose weight. Through weekly support meetings between Jean Nidetch and her friends, the group of friends all began losing weight.

As Nidetch’s idea began to spread, through the encouragement of others it was suggested that she should set up classes at a business location. In May of 1963, Weight Watchers became incorporated and the first public meeting was held in Queens, New York. Members of her classes that were successful would become trained and eventually begin teaching classes of their own until Weight Watcher classes were appearing all over the United States and even in other nations like England, Ireland, and Australia. The programs followed nutritionally balanced food plans, and in 1978 a plan for exercise was also incorporated into Weight Watchers, making it one the first weight loss programs that suggested the importance of walking for overall fitness.

Also in 1978, Weight Watchers International was sold to the H.J. Heinz Company, where it continued to grow and prosper. The Heinz Company also began marketing and selling Weight Watcher packaged foods at this time. Although the company has evolved and adjusted its plans to accommodate changing lifestyles, the main principles have remained the same. In 1999, the Heinz Company sold Weight Watchers to the European investment firm Artal Luxembourg, which still owns the company today. Weight Watchers now uses the idea that their program is not a diet, but instead a lifestyle change.

Today the Weight Watcher plan follows a point system, and each person is allotted a certain number of points per day based upon their age and weight. There have been many success stories of those following Weight Watchers and many famous celebrities have been spokespersons for the company including Jennie McCarthy, Lynn Redgrave, Sarah Ferguson, and most recently, Jennifer Hudson.

Finding Weight Watchers Promotional Discounts

There are many different ways to find coupons and discounts for both joining Weight Watcher programs and buying Weight Watcher meals and other food products. By going to the Weight Watcher website you can find many different promotions and discounts, including joining for free, or getting one week’s enrollment free. Those are the current offers at this time, and do occasionally change. There are also places on the website where you can print off coupons for certain Weight Watcher products. Coupons for other Weight Watcher products can also be found in coupon inserts in local Sunday newspapers.

Weight Watchers has proven to be a reliable way to effectively lose weight if you correctly follow their plan. Through various links on their website and coupons found in your paper, you can save money on different Weight Watcher products and services.

Lean Cuisine is a line of low fat, low calorie frozen meals sold by the Stouffers division of Nestle´ foods in the U.S. Stouffers started their frozen food division in 1954. The Lean Cuisine brand was launched in 1981 as “Stouffers Lean Cuisine.” Although the Stouffers name still appears on the label in very small print, Lean Cuisine has managed to carve out a large share of the frozen meal market for itself.

The FDA considers the brand name “Lean Cuisine” to be a nutrient claim and requires the meals to meet its “lean” standards. This means that the meals may contain no more than 10g of fat, no more than 4.5g of saturated fat, and no more than 95 mg of cholesterol per serving. In addition to this Lean Cuisine meals are calorie controlled. Most meals fall within the range of 200 to 300 calories. Some are as high as 400 and some are as low as 140. Nutritional information is prominently displayed on the package, enabling the consumer to make informed decisions about their dietary habits. There is some controversy over the amount of sodium contained in Lean Cuisine meals. None of the meals exceed the recommendations of the FDA for sodium content, however.

Lean Cuisine offers six different lines of frozen meals. They offer 30 different “One Dish Favorites.” These include chicken chow mein, cheese ravioli, lasagna, and stuffed cabbage. In the “Cafe´ Classics” line they offer 28 meals. Some of these are chicken marsala, shrimp with angel hair pasta, and parmesan-crusted fish. The “Comfort Classics” line consists of 12 different versions of old-fashioned home-style meals. Examples would be beef pot roast and meat loaf with mashed potatoes. “Spa Cuisine Classics” is a line of 15 new-age style meals like ginger garlic stir-fry chicken and salmon with basil. There are 24 choices offered in the “Casual Eating” line, including mushroom pizza and chicken club panini. The 12 “Dinner Time Specials” make up the rest of the line with items such as Jumbo rigatoni with meatballs and steak tips dijon.

Lean cuisine has many competitors in the “healthy” frozen food business. Their products are distributed through virtually all major grocery retailers and discount clubs. Starting in 1987 they began listing the Weight Watchers “point” values on the boxes, enabling them to market their product more effectively to the dieting public. Although Lean Cuisine products can stand alone on their taste and nutritional value, dieters are a huge part of their market.

Lean Cuisine offers an email subscription service which distributes printable coupons on a regular basis. In addition, all of the big grocery chains distribute coupons and sales fliers featuring the products. Direct-mail distribution and insertion in local newspapers is another way coupons are distributed. Some of the online coupon services also handle printable coupons for the product. Combining coupons with weekly sales can frequently result in substantial savings.
